LEICESTER CITY FOOTBALL CLUB VISIT THE CLUB
Market Bosworth Bowls Club
Having visited the new £100m training facilities in Seagrave I contacted Leicester City Football Club's SportsTurf Academy and they kindly visited our Club last Thursday. Mick and myself hosted the visit and their advisor had a good look at our green and also our machines.
A report is to be forwarded but in general our green is in very good condition, good root growth, very minimal thatch and excellent prospect of growth as the weather improves.
He was very impressed with the machines we have but of course suggested possible additions!
He advised what they could do to help us in terms of bringing professional aerating machines etc. but, as we understand it this would be at cost.

There is no car park at the club, but you can park on the road( usually busy!) or down a road opposite the club. there is also a small pay and display car park on the right just past the club
